Annotation
The article presents the content of the reports at the IV All-Russian Forum of Legal Historians “Historical Enlightenment and legal education in the focus of historical and legal science” (May 23–24, 2025, University of Tyumen), organized by the Association of Legal Historians. The reports presented during the plenary session are characterized.
The key provisions of the speeches devoted to the development of the history of the state and law as a science and an academic discipline are outlined. The main directions of the discussions on historical education and legal education, the role of historical and legal science in the education of young people are shown. The interdisciplinary nature of historical and legal knowledge and its axiological potential are emphasized.
