Annotation
The article presents an overview of the IV International Historical and Legal Congress “Scientific Heritage of Serafim Vladimirovich Yushkov” held on May 23–24, 2024 in Saratov. The event was organized by the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Saratov State Law Academy.
The review analyzes the substantive side of the speeches made at the plenary session of the conference. The main ideas concerning the creative adaptation of S. V. Yushkov’s
scientific heritage in modern historical and legal science are shown. The role of the hisory of the state and law in modern conditions is emphasized.
