The Relevance of the Introduction of Such Legal Structures as a Trust and a Foundation into the Civil Legislation of the Russian Federation

Currently, the Russian Federation is undergoing a reform of civil legislation within the framework of which a new type of legal entity has appeared that is the inheritance fund. When developing the draft law and studying the experience of common law countries, the question about the relevance of introducing such legal structures as a trust and a foun­dation into the civil legislation of the Russian Federation arose. The possibility of using such effective, reliable asset management will be an anti-offshore measure, since Russian business will be able not to transfer assets abroad, due to the lack of the necessary tools in the legislation of the Russian Federation that keep up with modern global trends, and will also increase the standard of living of the population and the national economy as a whole.
