Annotation
Analyzing crises in international law as obstacles to effective international crime prevention, the author divides the complex of existing obstacles into objective and subjective. First of all the author refers the lag in the development of international legal norms from the constantly changing conditions of international life and the real difficulties in the application of specific international legal norms in the field of crime preventionto the obstacles of an objective nature. Obstacles of a subjective nature include, first of all, the ignorance of certain international legal norms by individual subjects of international law and double standards in the application of international law in specific circumstances. It is noted that, despite the diversity and variability of the problems existing in the field under study, the considered obstacles are the hardest ones.
