Annotation

The article deals with some issues of the establishment of the Institute for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the European Union, its ransformation into one of the foundations of a supranational organization functioning . The author draws conclusions about the relationship between supranational and national constitutional and legal competence in this area. The features of the complex impact of two supranational courts such as the EU Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights on the area of protection of human rights in the European Union were studied.
