Annotation
The article is devoted to the analysis of the specifics of software as an object of a license legal relationship. The purpose of the article is to identify the specific features
of relations on the use of software. To achieve this goal, the formal legal method and the method of legal modeling were used. The main provisions of the legislation and approaches of domestic courts in terms of software license agreements are analyzed. Based on the analysis of the current legislation and current law enforcement practice, the main practically significant conclusions are made, with special attention paid to the qualification of the principle of “as is” conditionally established in contractual practice, as well as to the justification of the applicability of such a property-law category as quality to software.
