Established in the 16th century the concept of sovereignty is exposed in the XX–XXI centuries to noticeable modifications due to the expansion of interstate cooperation and the entry of states into various international organizations and integration associations, the formation and development of a catalogue of human rights, the dynamics
of socio-economic development, technological innovations and other factors, each of which determines certain restrictions or, conversely, expansion of state sovereignty. The purpose of the article is to identify the vectors of transformation of state sovereignty in modern conditions. To achieve it, the article defines the constitutional basis and outlines the territorial limits of the state sovereignty; the concept and content of state sovereignty are studied in the historical aspect, as well as in the modern interpretation, including international legal one; the problems of ensuring the technological sovereignty of the state are analyzed. Based on the results of the study, conclusions are represented about the directions of transformation of the content of the concept of sovereignty; about the tasks facing legal science, the solution of which is necessary to ensure the preservation of the state, legal, economic, digital, technological sovereignty and national identity of the Russian Federation in crisis circumstances, in the light of the functioning of international decision-making centers, as well as in connection with the need to specify the norms of the Constitution on strengthening the sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
