COMPARATIVE LEGAL ANALYSIS OF CONSTITUTIONAL ACTS IN TERMS OF THE USE OF THE CATEGORY “INTEREST” IN THEM: FROM THE RUSSIAN EMPIRE TO THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

In connection with the ongoing events in the political and legal space, the trends of moving away from the principles of unification and convergence of the constitutional and legal provisions of national states, as well as the priorities of strengthening their national sovereignties, the study of Constitutions from the time of the Russian Empire to the current Constitution of the Russian Federation seems to be relevant and timely. The purpose of the study is to establish options for using the category “interest” in the constitutional acts of the XIX–XXI centuries. Within the framework of the study, such methods were used as general scientific, historical-comparative, system-structural and the method of formal logic. The result of the comparative analysis of the written Constitutional acts of different eras for the use of the category of “interest” in them shows that in the era of the Russian Empire this category is only beginning to be implemented in constitutional legislation, while in the days of the USSR and the Russian Federation it is widely used.
