Annotation
The article is an overview of the scientific event or the section “Digital imperatives for the development of legislation in a post-industrial society”, held as part of the All-Russian annual meeting of legal theorists in February 2022. The purpose of the article is to reveal the content of the most interesting reports made at the section, to convey the ideas expressed by scientists to the general scientific community. The article briefly presents the main provisions expressed in the reports of scientists and united by a common issue such as the impact of digitalization on the development of legislation and the evolution of law as a source of law. It is emphasized that under the influence of digitalization, the formation of a post-industrial society is taking place, and the corresponding dynamics of social relations affects the transformation of legislation.
